October 14th and I don’t know about you but I have been loving the fall colour this year. The gentle fall as opposed to the precipitous drop in temperatures we experienced last year in this part of B.C. has meant the trees can shut down slowly. Consequently the colours have been amazingly vibrant. Let’s hope this puts our trees and shrubs in good shape for the winter despite the lack of water. Our trees need water to get through the winter in good condition so I sure hope we get some rain in the next couple of weeks.
