There is a warm spell on the horizon but in the meantime, I don’t know about your annuals and perennials but mine just sit there waiting for some warmth!

Trees are doing well though and many of the flowers featured in the previous weeks are still blooming. There is lots of yellow in the Caraganas, and Euphorbias. The Sweet Cicely is huge. The Pulmonaria is finally fading and the last of the tulip petals are falling. Cranesbills are just coming into their own.

Beyond the garden gate, flowers are still going strong, most of the same I posted in ‘The Wild Garden.’ The beauty of the cool weather is that the flowers hang in there for longer than usual so before the hot weather hits, there is still time to see them.
