A Week Of Flowers 4

Published by

My phone just died on me today so please forgive this hasty post. Been chasing around trying to sort it but alas it is dead for sure. I’m lost without my phone. This is a good lesson in dependency!!

Responding to Cathy’s invitation https://wordsandherbs.wordpress.com/ remembering our garden delights as we approach the darkest day of the year. Now into a Zone Three May. Meanwhile happy blooms from May and early June.

Allium giganteum, Common Iris and Sweet Rocket Hesperis matronalis
Japanese Fernleaf Peony Paeoania tenuifolia
Heavenly scented Daphne mackii
Rosa ‘Austrian Copper’ peeking through the fence, tough non-recurrent old rose

The irises and alliums look lovely together and what a beautiful peony! May and June bring so much wonderful colour don’t they! Wish I could smell that Daphne…. Hope your phone can be revived Jenny!

Thank you Cathy. I take most of my photos with what was my phone so admit to being a tad frustrated yesterday. The phone is truly a gonna! New one on the horizon!
