In a vase, Monday April 21,2025

Some Easter colours with an imposter from the greenhouse. I now have a variety of blooms although not plentiful! They will soon all be here. Spring comes in a rush and several walks around the garden, if not working out there, provide delightful little surprises everyday. A snow/rain/sleet shower provided some much need moisture on Easter Sunday, a typical April day!

Here is my little Easter bundle of Arabis, Pulmonaria, Scilla, Muscari, Hellebore and Hyacinth in Granny’s little crystal vase.

Easter Posy

I hope everyone had chocolate this weekend.

Please head over to Cathy’s ‘Rambling In the Garden’ for more spring delights.

That’s a very springy composition, Jenny! I love that period in early spring when each stroll through the garden brings surprises. My spring garden is well beyond that point as I’m already seeing signs we’re slipping toward summer.

Such a pretty little thistle vase – reminded me immediately of my younger sister who asked me to look out for a vase like this when we visited various markets and car boot sales. You have filled yours with lots of spring treasures including some of the options I had but didn’t have room for. What is the bright pink flower (and petal!)?

That is the intruder from the greenhouse – a Geranium!

A very sweet posy Jenny. And yes, of course we had chocolate. (And apple strudel too!) 😉 Your Pulmonaria is a lovely shade of pink. 😃

Oh that’s a pretty gathering of spring blooms Jenny 😀 We had a beautiful day here on Easter Sunday but yesterday was certainly a typical April day! Just two small portions of chocolate her but much relished.

What a charming Easter arrangement! Your posy of Arabis, Pulmonaria, Scilla, Muscari, Hellebore, and Hyacinth is a delightful celebration of spring, perfectly complemented by Granny’s crystal vase. The mix of blooms and the joy of discovering new surprises in the garden truly capture the magic of the season. I hope your Easter was as sweet as your flowers—chocolate included! 🌸🍫
