In a Vase, Monday June 2, 2025

The garden is entering that lull between bulbs and the big stars of the perennial border. However the Alliums are still in their glory and the Lady’s Mantle is just beginning to bloom so I blended the two for this one. Allium giganteum, Allium schoenoprasum, and Alchemilla mollis.

The title for this spontaneously appeared in my brain which although not very floral must say something about my state of mind. Just a little symbolism here!

Global Wars

But then there is always hope!

Don’t forget to head over to Cathy’s Rambling in the Garden where other floral beauties await. Thank you Cathy for keeping our floral creative juices flowing.

Nice! Purple and green is a favorite color combination of mine.

Once again, you’ve done a masterful job displaying your flowers, Jenny! Even cut with smaller stems those Alliums have a major presence about them.

Thank you Kris! The Allium had fallen and so actually needed ‘restructuring’!

Great title (wish I had thought of that one, but there could of course be variations….!), great container and great arrangement. I would say this is perfect too…! 😂
