Well, I am feeling renewed after the 80th birthday is over! Now on to the ninth decade. I dreaded this last one arriving as I did my 60th but now it is over and done with, I feel relieved. My daughter provided a lovely family get together and the beautiful flowers from my little brother, that I could never grow, are still providing joy.

Believe it or not, I was able to rescue still, a few more tiny blooms from the garden last week. and for Remembrance Day in the Gallery I could not resist these gorgeous Gerberas in the supermarket.

Purchased Gerberas, with Juniper, and Ivy interspersed with dried purple Statice.
In these difficult and divided times flowers continue to provide me with the constant beauty, symbols of remembrance and resiliency that I hope will drive us forward to a more peaceful world. I was born at the end of the second world war and have lived in the best of times. May we have more ‘best of times’.
Thank you to Cathy of ‘Rambling In The Garden’ for providing delightful peeks into other’s floral delights as well as her 624 vases! CONGRATULATIONS Cathy!
