What’s In Bloom For The Week Of July 31?

Well, the heat loving plants have done well although watering has been a challenge! The Zinnias finally have enough blooms to pick. The brown grass will recover and I hope the plants that decided to go dormant in this heat will perk back up next year. The Humming Birds are loving the Bergamot, Bee Balm. I miss my Sweet Cicely leaves and the Delphiniums did not last very long. However there is lots of Monkshood, Aconitum coming along. It has been a strange year but what year is not these days. The challenge makes gardening more interesting. I am afraid I do not have variety names for a lot of my plants as they have been acquired over the years through friends or plant exchanges. I know most of the families though and they are faithful old friends!

New this last week.
