The end of the garden florals for while, I’m afraid. The Fall Monkshood is still blooming, Nepeta hangs on with the fall asters but alas we had our first frost yesterday. This is the latest frost I can remember – must look up records but with a Harvest Moon tonight, it is assured there will be another. The average first frost date for this area is between September 11 and September 14.
Time has slipped away this week and I am so late getting this up. Just pictures of my gatherings as I work on the fall chores.

I hope you all can identify the common garden annuals, perennial seed pods and the invasives in here!

Thank you Cathy.
Now, must go listen to Neil Young’s ‘Harvest Moon.’
