I am late putting this up today so it will appear as Tuesday to many of you! 8:00pm here and beautiful clear evening and so very good to have clear air and a mountain view again. I am focussed on whether I will have enough flowers for a nephew’s wedding this upcoming weekend and totally forgot a vase today.
I do however, have a couple I put together last week that I will use. In another gifted vase ( I am so lucky to have these generous potting friends)
Purple

Russian Sage, Perovskia atriplicifolia, (newly classified as a salvia) Globe Thistle, Echinops,Garden Phlox, Phlox paniculata, Zinnias, Queen Anne’s Lace Ammi majus, Snapdragon, Antirrhinum, Yarrow Achillea millefolium.
By contrast, the ‘Cafe au Lait’ Dahlia made for a very soft combination with the Scabiosa and ‘Sprinkles’ Grass, Panicum elegans

I wish everyone a lovely week with pleasant garden distractions from world politics.
Please visit Cathy’s ‘Rambling In The Garden’ for more flowers.
