No frost yet and the flowers are petering out but providing just enough for a vase or two. I am willing the Snaps to flower again next week just in time for the fall wedding I need to provide for.
Todays’s vase consists of Snapdragons, Antirrhinum, Zinnias, Cosmos foliage, Golden Glow, Rudbeckia lacianata, A Cephalaria, origin unknown, Bells of Ireland, Moluccella laevis and Clary Sage, Salvia sclarea.
I am really hopeful that in coming months I will find time to catch up on plants for this zone that I have never added to my resource lists.
With the fall Equinox happening tomorrow Tueday September 22nd, I wish everyone a beautiful autumn with much colour to enjoy.
My Autumn Crocus, Colchicum autumnale are on time and putting colour into the border. They always amaze me – popping up months after their foliage has disappeared.
